Jumma Mubarak is the term which Muslims uses all around the world to greet their Muslim followers on the six days of the week called “جمع”.

جمع (Jumma مبارڪ) is an important day in Islamic religion and has special orders by the Allah (God). There are two reasons for this; Muslims pray the Friday prayer or Jumma prayer every week and second according to the Islamic history, اتي ويو ڪيترن ئي اهم ڏينهن هن ڏينهن تي ائين ڪيو ويو آهي ڪيو.

Middles ۾ ملڪن ۾ به ان موقعي بدران آچر تي سندن هفتيوار موڪل جو ڏينهن آهي ته مسلمانن جي مسجد ۾ Jumma نماز پڙھندا آھن ۽ گھر وارن سان سندن وقت خرچ ڪري سگهو ٿا. ان ڪيئي خوشي جو ڏينهن غلط نه ٿيندو.

هن ڏينهن اسلامي مذهب ۽ تاريخ ۾ پنهنجي اهميت رکي ٿو. پوء, هن ڏينهن جي باري ۾ ڄاڻڻ ضروري آهي, ته ڇو اسان جو اوھان کي سچ سمجهڻ ۾ مدد ڏيندو ته اوھان لاء هن تفصيلي مضمون آڻيندو آهي Jumma مبارڪ جي معني, صلي الله عليہ وسلم ۽ جيڪي الله ۽ پيغمبر ڪندو (ندما) هن اهم ڏينهن جي باري ۾ چيو ته.

Jumma ڇا آهي?

Jumma هڪ عربي لفظ آهي جنهن جو مطلب آهي “جمع”. Jumma هڪ عربي زبان جو لفظ آهي پر مسلمانن جي سڀ دنيا جي آس پاس جي موقعي لاء هڪ ئي اصطلاح استعمال ڪري ٿو، جڏهن ته, ڪم نه ڪندو آهي ته جنهن ٻولي اهي هيٺيان آهن.

هن جي ڏينهن جمعو payer جن جا نالا آهي جو سبب آهي “Jumma دعا”. انگريزي زبان ۾ جمع جي لغوي معني جي عوام آهي.

Jummah نماز ڇا آهي?

مٿي ذڪر جيئن, Jumma اسلام ۾ هڪ اهم ڏينهن آهي ڇاڪاڻ ته تاريخي واقعا ۽ خاص نماز جي. هن خاص نماز Jummah نماز سڏيو ويندو آهي.

This prayer has been offered every Friday instead of 2nd prayer (Zuhur prayer) afternoon in the mosque. The timing of Jumma prayer could be different in each mosque which depends on the rest of the schedule of the mosques but it usually happened at the time of Zuhur prayer. Prophet Muhammad (ندما) Said:

 “The best day in the sight of God is Friday, the day of congregation”

The Quran also encourage Muslims to visit mosques for the Friday prayer:

O you who believe! When the call to prayer is proclaimed on Friday hasten earnestly to the remembrance of God and leave aside business. That is best for you if you but knew. (Quran 62:9)

Jumma prayer is also special for Muslims because unlike other prayers of the day, there isn’t only Azaan (Call for prayer) and Salah but also the Imaams of the mosques deliver special Khutbah (speech) before the Jummah prayer

The Friday prayer in Islam could not be completed without this speech which has been delivered in Arabic language only.

In many majorities of Muslim countries, the Imaam of the mosques also delivers a speech in their own language related to the Islam.

The purpose of this speech is to aware the Muslims about the great teaching of Prophet Muhammad (ندما) and remind his sacrificed for the Islam.

This tradition is not very common in all Muslim countries but countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt and Saudi Arabia do follow this.

There are many important events took place on this day due to which Muslims call the Jummah day (Jumu’ah)as a holy day. These events include the events like:

  • Allah created Adam on Friday and sent to his to the Earth. According to Islamic scholars, it is also the day of his death
  • According to the Islamic teaching, there has been an hour when all the prayers of the person has been accepted by Allah
  • Jumma has been called as the master day of the week in same way as Ramadan has been called master of all months
  • Islamic scholars claim that on each hour of this day, thousands of souls have been freed from the hellfire
  • According to Ibn Majah, this day has been called as the mother of the days where Tirmidhi says that people died on this day will be saved from the punishment of the grave

The work Mubarak is or Mabrouk is Arabic language world which means is blessed or congratulations. In the Muslim world, this word has been used to congratulate an event or day to other Muslims.

جمعو جو ڏينهن جا فائدا

پوء, when you heard that a Muslim is saying Jumma Mubarak or Jumma Marouk to another follower, this means that he is greeting the blessings of this special day to each other. While both the Mubarak and Mabrouk are Arabic words but in non-Arabic Muslim countries,

Muslims prefer to use this word to greet the blessings of Friday to each other instead of using the word of their own local or national languages like Urdu, Hindi, انگريزي, and Turkish etc.

Some people also prefer to use other related words to greet the blessings of Friday. These words include happy Jummah, happy Jumma, happy Jumma مبارڪ 2018, Juma Kareem and Friday Mubarak etc.

There isn’t any dua for the Jumma Mubarak which has been found in Quran and Hadees. This means that you do not to limit yourself to a specific dua only but you can pray anything which fit your need.
